Duplicate Data

Though uncommon, the QuickBooks API occasionally generates duplicates of sales receipts or other documents. While we've made extensive efforts to address this within our code, the chance of duplicates persists. To help you manage this issue, we've developed two tools that you can use to manage potential duplicates.

Duplicate Checker Button

On the Data Feed page, you can run a duplicate check anytime using the button at the top right of the page. This will automatically search for duplicates and delete them if found. This search runs in the background and doesn't require any additional action.

Advanced Duplicate Protection

On the Account Mapping page, you can enable Advanced Duplicate Protection. This feature inputs a unique identifier on each sales receipt that prevents duplication.
