Setup & Testing

There are two environments available for using Acodei's solution. You can use the test environment if you want to see how Acodei works and test it. Or you can set up a live account if you're going to integrate your merchant with us and start bringing your Stripe transactions to QuickBooks.

How to Set Up a Live Account

After testing our platform and all the features we provide in the test environment, you need to set up your live account to use our solution. To do this, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have a Stripe account where you handle your transactions.
  • Have a Quickbooks account where you manage or want to manage your transactions.

To create a live account on Acodei, follow these steps:

  1. Go to and sign up using your name, email address, and password.

  2. Complete the onboarding checklist that will appear when you log in. Remember that all these data can be modified later, in your Acodei Dashboard.

    • Connect to QuickBooks.
    • Connect to Stripe.
    • Account Configuration.
    • Advanced Settings (Optional).
    • Test and Connect.
    • Choose Plan and Checkout.
    • Historical Pull (Optional).
  3. Once you have completed the Onboarding checklist, you can see how the transactions follow the Stripe>Acodei>QuickBooks data flow.
