Acodei is dedicated to delivering an exceptional user experience, offering a fully functional testing environment for users to explore and test its solution before moving to a live environment. With this testing environment, you can experience the platform's features and capabilities firsthand, allowing you to make informed decisions about adopting Acodei's solution.

To set up your test environment, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to https://developer.intuit.com and create a Developer account. This will give you access to QuickBooks sandbox accounts. Ensure you have a sandbox account accessible in your Developer account before proceeding.
  2. Create an account at https://stripe.com.
    • After creating your account, you will need to activate it by entering the required information and then put it into test mode by clicking on the switch at the top right of the screen.
    • If you already have a Stripe account, you only need to activate the test mode by clicking on the switch at the top right of the screen.

Test Transactions

Test Stripe transactions cannot be run in our live application unless you are using a live credit card.

  1. Go to https://beta-quickbooks.acodei.com/register and register in our application with your name, email address, and password. You can also register using your Intuit Developer account in the Sign up with Intuit option.

  2. Once you are logged in, complete the 7 items on the Onboarding checklist to set up your account:

    • Connect to QuickBooks. In this case, connect your QuickBooks sandbox account.
    • Connect to Stripe. Use your Stripe account in test mode.
    • Account Configuration. Set up account mapping.
    • Advanced Settings (Optional).
    • Test and Connect. Test to make sure everything is working properly.
    • Choose Plan and Checkout. You can use a test credit card to upgrade your account.
    • Historical Pull (Optional).

You can use the following data to upgrade your test account

Card number: 4242424242424242
Expiration date: Any date in the future.
CVV: Any.

  1. Once you have completed the Onboarding checklist, you can test transactions in Stripe to see how they follow the Stripe>Acodei>QuickBooks data flow.
