Shipping Cost Tracking

We can help you track shipping expenses in QuickBooks by mapping the shipping cost from Stripe directly to a QuickBooks product of your choice.

How It Works

  • When a customer pays for shipping through Stripe, the shipping amount is recorded.

  • We map that shipping cost to a QuickBooks product that represents where you want to track this expense.

  • This ensures your shipping costs flow into your accounting system consistently and accurately.

What You Need to Do

To get started, please email our support team with the following information:

  1. The QuickBooks product you would like us to map your shipping costs to.

  2. Confirmation that you would like this feature enabled for your account.

Behind the Scenes

  • Once we receive your request, our team will enable the feature on the backend.

  • Going forward, shipping costs listed in Stripe will automatically sync to the designated QuickBooks product.

Example

  • Stripe charges $10 for shipping.

  • That $10 is recorded in QuickBooks against the product you’ve specified (e.g., “Shipping Expense”).
